Perth Run 16/11/2002

Excellent weather for the second run of the WA crew, 3 x MY02 cars, Aluminium Silver, 2 Moonstone (strange feeling driving along and looking at a reflection), Ben's MY00 mixed up the colour scheme with his Diablo Red and Jason brought along a nice black 306GTi6.

Usual meet place on the river with the city backdrop. A quick zip down the freeway to get out of metropolis, where Nav caught up with us ... then straight for the water catchment areas in the South West. You see from one of the photo's there isn't much water to speak off (the dams are at something like 18% capacity).

The roads get quite narrow in places and you had to remember they are actually 2 way. First real stop was Canning Dam (see photo). Then a small journey over to Churchman Brook Dam, a quick swap of cars to check out different Springs and Quick Shift kits, then off for lunch.
